Reference Projects

The engineering behind the delivery note.

Named case studies are published only once a client approves the details, so this page describes project types and the supply workflow rather than claiming outcomes we cannot evidence. Ask the sales desk for references relevant to your sector.

Client: Regional internet provider, Rift Valley

Aerial fibre through 41 kilometres of poled route

ADSS reels, closures, splitters, drop cable, splice consumables

Initial State

Two suppliers, mismatched span ratings and a crew idling on sleeves and pigtails.

Deployed Solution

One staged supply plan per week of build, spans rated above the longest gap, and zero repeat splices on the acceptance trace.

41 km strung, 96 closures populated, handover pack signed on first submission

Client: Private school group, Nairobi

Campus backbone and 620 certified outlets

Fibre backbone between blocks, CAT6 horizontal, cabinets, patching, testers

Initial State

One overloaded comms cupboard and copper runs well past the 90 metre limit.

Deployed Solution

A cabinet per block linked on single mode fibre, every outlet inside the permanent link limit and labelled to a room map.

620 outlets certified, results filed per outlet for the estates team

Client: County facility, Western Kenya

Surveillance retrofit sized around a 30 day retention rule

IP cameras, NVR and storage sizing, PoE switching, access readers

Initial State

A recorder that filled in eleven days and switches without the PoE budget for night mode.

Deployed Solution

Storage calculated from bitrate, camera count and retention, and switch budgets set with headroom for illuminators.

30 day retention held through the first full quarter, no power brownouts logged

Standard Configurations

Project types we supply every month

Aerial fibre rollout for a regional provider

01 //

ADSS spans, closures, splitters, drop cable, splicing & OTDR support

A poled route through a growing estate needs cable rated for the longest span, closures at every branch and enough drop cable to connect subscribers as they sign. Supply is staged so the crew never carries more stock than the week needs.

Campus structured cabling

02 //

CAT6 horizontal, fibre backbone between blocks, cabinets & certification

Blocks are linked with fibre while each block keeps its own cabinet, so an outlet is never more than 90 metres from its patch panel. Certification results are handed over with the delivery notes.

Surveillance and access control retrofit

03 //

IP cameras, NVR and storage sizing, PoE switching, access readers

The retention period drives the storage array, and the camera count drives the PoE budget. Both are calculated before hardware is quoted so the recorder does not run out of disk in month two.

Data room and rack build out

04 //

Cabinets, patching, PDUs, containment and dressing accessories

Neat racks are cheaper to maintain. Panels, managers, cords in length and colour codes, plus containment, are supplied as a single kit so the installer is not improvising on site.

Questions about project supply

How quickly can a project be supplied from Nairobi?+

Stock items leave the Nairobi store on the day the order is confirmed, and deliveries reach main towns on the next courier run.

Special order lines are confirmed with a date before you commit.

Can supply be staged across phases of a rollout?+

Yes. Deliveries are released per phase so a crew never carries more stock than the week needs.

Phased releases also keep site security and storage simple.

Do you check a bill of materials before quoting?+

Yes. The technical desk reviews the list and flags wrong connector types, span ratings or PoE budgets before pricing.

That review is the reason most orders avoid a second trip to site.

Are project case studies published with client names?+

Only with written approval from the client. Otherwise the scope is described without naming the site.

Reference calls can be arranged for procurement teams that need them.
